Quick sketching to refined rendering

From Pencil, Pen or Marker to Illustrator
In design I use several types of sketching and drawing to convey my ideas. From pencil sketches to show an idea fast (seen to the left) to loose drawing as a form study (seen below in the predator drawing).

Often times the quick sketches are refined into pen and ink drawings rendered in marker (as seen in the other drawings below accept the last one).
​
Occasionally I will further develop a hand sketch into an illustrator drawing as seen in the feeder drawings below. Each drawing type suites a different purpose but all are a way of communicating ideas to a design team or client.
